Women’s needs are different at every stage of life, they may even appear without expecting them, that is why I am in constant training and professional development. My goal is to find the perfect solution for each of my patients and for this, in my integrative gynecology and anti-aging medicine treatments, I use complementary medical professionals and the most advanced technology on the market.

Hello! I am Dr. Bárbara Fernández del Bas, a gynecologist specializing in integrative and functional gynecology and anti-aging medicine.
Raised in a matriarchy and mother of three wonderful children, two of them girls. I am aware of the different needs we women have throughout our lives, and I am constantly searching for solutions for them.
Throughout my specialization as a gynecologist, I focused my studies on general gynecology and gynecologic oncology, developing a broad clinical and surgical training, which culminated in being part of the department of gynecologic oncology at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital, one of the most demanding units both academically and surgically, there is in gynecology.
After years of working in the public health sector, I realized that “traditional” gynecology did not provide answers or solutions to most of my patients’ problems, so years ago I began my studies in Anti-Aging Medicine, Regenerative Medicine and Functional Gynecology.
Thanks to this in-depth training, my approach to patients is always global, looking for new scientific advances and making them available to all women who need them.
Currently, I devote all my time to my Longevity and Functional and Regenerative Gynecology practice at Clinique la Prairie and continue to train in Sexology, Regenerative and Pelvic Floor Gynecology.
One of the most important tasks of my profession is outreach, taking intimate health beyond the office. Sex education is still necessary in our society to break down prejudices, eliminate taboos and break myths. In the following articles I try to make visible and normalize issues such as menopause, intimate hygiene and female sex.
