Functional and regenerative gynecology

Changing the shape and aesthetics of the genitals is as feasible as changing the shape of the nose. Functional and regenerative gynecology contributes to solve pathologies such as labia minora hypertrophy, labia majora lipodystrophy or vaginal hyperlaxity syndrome.

Functional and regenerative gynecology is not a fad, it addresses real female intimate health problems.

Hypertrophy of labia minora

Hypertrophy of the labia minora or inner labia generates self-esteem problems in patients, as well as discomfort related to sexual relations, physical exercise or genital hygiene.

It is a congenital or acquired pathology (after weight loss, aging, childbirth,…) in which the labia minora are disproportionate, in width or length, in relation to the labia majora.

Non-surgical treatments

  • Vulvar radiofrequency
  • Surgical labiaplasty

Lipodystrophy of labia majora

Weight changes or aging, among others, can cause a loss of fat in the labia majora. This decrease leads to skin flaccidity.

Non-surgical treatments

  • Volumization of labia majora with hyaluronic acid
  • Labiaplasty of labia majora
  • Lipotransfer
  • Tensile threads

Vaginal hyperlaxity syndrome

Hyperlaxity syndrome may appear after childbirth. The walls of the vagina become more lax and the vaginal diameter increases due to tissue aging and collagen loss associated with childbirth.

This hyperlaxity causes loss of sensitivity during sexual intercourse, “vaginal gas”, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, etc.

Non-surgical treatments

  • CO2 Laser
  • Vaginoplasty with/without perineoplasty
  • Emsella
  • Strengthening of the pelvic floor musculature with physiotherapy and rehabilitation

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to take any special care after having an aesthetic treatment?

You must follow the recommendations that we will give you after the procedure, these recommendations are given to you the same day that the treatment is indicated and the day you have it done, so that you have everything prepared at home.

Are there any risks associated with gynecological aesthetic treatments?

All treatments have risks, but gynecological aesthetic treatments are very rare and totally acceptable.

How long does it take to recover from a gynecological aesthetic treatment?

It will depend on the procedure. All regenerative procedures performed in the office do not require sick leave and you can immediately return to your normal life. The surgical ones have other times.
