The REVOLUTIONARY ANTI-AGING GYNECOLOGY consists of the fusion of the concepts, diagnostic methods and treatments of gynecology with two great modern specialties such as Anti-Aging Medicine and Regenerative Medicine.
Traditionally, when we spoke of women’s health we referred almost exclusively to reproductive health, but fortunately sociocultural changes have modified women’s interests, concerns and needs and will continue to do so until all taboos and secrecy surrounding the female genital sphere are eliminated.
50.6% of the Spanish population is female and the average age is 44.5 years, and life expectancy is 86.2 years. But despite having 7 years longer life expectancy than men, women have a worse quality of life, more ailments, more drug consumption, more need for rest after the age of 25 and worse after the age of 50, and the life expectancy of women is higher than that of men. healthy life is only 65 years old.
Due to these demographic changes, medical science continues to progress and apply the most impactful technological advances to respond to cultural needs, to better understand the mechanisms of our body’s behavior in order to prevent, diagnose early and cure pathologies that in another time would have been disabling or even fatal.
Thus, obstetrics and gynecology currently make up a broad specialty, and together with the classic areas of prenatal medicine, oncological gynecology and reproduction, we add: pelvic floor, aesthetic, regenerative and functional gynecology, and anti-aging gynecology.
In this sense, anti-aging gynecology is presented as a great friend to help us solve problems, diseases and dysfunctions such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, chronic anovulation, hormonal deficit of perimenopause and menopause, emotional disturbances caused or worsened by hormonal imbalances, take care of our fertility, our ovaries (organs highly sensitive to oxidation) and love our young, mature and healthy hormones. And all vulvo-vaginal symptoms vaginal dryness, pelvic pain, urinary leakage, frequency of urination, anal incontinence, prolapse, sexual dysfunction, sagging and sagging of the genitals, genital darkening, recurrent vaginitis, altered vaginal flora. Without forgetting that our genitals are part of our whole.
In this article we want to show you all that anti-aging gynecology can do for you, all that we are trained in and all that we are willing to do for you.

The toxic estrogenic environment of plastics and endocrine disrupting xenobiotics that surround us in the environment and food is considered to increase its incidence.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a highly prevalent metabolic endocrine disorder; it is estimated that up to 25% of the female population may develop it. It is currently considered a pathology with familial epigenetics. It is a complex multigenic disease, depending on the set of inherited and expressed genes, genes associated with insulin resistance and genes associated with reproductive dysfunction.
As it depends on the genes expressed, it manifests with various symptoms and signs, there are 4 major forms of presentation described, among them menstrual irregularities, cutaneous manifestations of hyperandrogenism, acne, increased sebaceous secretion, androgenic hair loss, obesity, infertility, menstrual alteration, insulin resistance and polycystic appearance of the ovaries in the gynecological ultrasound.
Most women with PCOS (60-80%) have insulin resistance and compensatory hyperinsulinemia that can occur in individuals of normal or increased body weight. Insulin resistance plays a major role in the long-term metabolic consequences of the syndrome, including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and fatty liver disease.
This implies that these patients need to be diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, they need to be informed and educated about their pathology and finally, they need to be monitored on a long-term basis. Treatment should always begin with the correction of metabolic disorders and is important because this syndrome is associated with reproductive, oncologic and chronic metabolic risks.
The most common treatment for symptom improvement is taking birth control pills, which helps regulate hormone levels. However, thanks to anti-aging gynecology, we have alternative or complementary treatments that are less aggressive, more complete and integrative with the objective of silencing the altered genes, to recover health, balance and improve our quality of life.
Menstrual disorders are disturbances related to a woman’s menstrual cycle.
Although menstrual disturbances are more frequent at the two extremes of fertile life (i.e., before the age of 20 and after the age of 40), all women can suffer from them sporadically or chronically, as factors related to diet, stress or hormone levels may play a role.
Depending on the type of disorder suffered, one or another treatment may be applied to improve the symptomatology and discomfort suffered through anti-aging gynecology.
The natural processes of our body, such as pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and hormonal changes, leave their mark on our genital apparatus, which can cause problems such as vaginal dryness, urinary incontinence, sagging pelvic floor, sexual dysfunction, enlargement and drooping of the labia. It is a necessity for today’s woman to solve them, and it is not really that they did not exist before, but now we allow ourselves to worry and take care of these needs and medicine has developed treatments for them.

Although the subject of the pelvic floor has experienced a considerable boom in recent years, its diffusion and knowledge among the population is still insufficient.
It is estimated that 47% of women suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction, but only 51% of them go for consultation and this is often late, of which 60% undergo treatment. Pelvic floor pathology (prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, urinary, anal, sexual dysfunction) is expected to double in the next 20 years. Currently 2 in 10 women will need pelvic floor surgery at some point in their lives, 1 in 4 have urinary incontinence, and all will need prevention of pelvic floor aging starting at age 40.
Progress in the knowledge and understanding of the anatomy, physiology and genetics of the pelvic floor has allowed progress in the development of increasingly effective therapies; the Mattson study (on 3,515 women who underwent surgery) showed that the quality of life of women with pelvic floor problems is worse, that after pelvic floor surgery 90% of women showed an improvement and that this was significantly high in 72%. However, this is not reflected in the popular mystique, whose myths include: “pelvic floor surgeries look bad”.
Quality scientific dissemination on the function of the pelvic floor and the prevention and treatment of its pathologies, which with many years of experience and millions of patients around the world have seen firsthand how their health problems, for which no one sought or found a solution before, can now be solved and this trend will continue to improve with the advent of new treatment techniques.
Treatments include:
Due to the increase in life expectancy, the specialization on healthy longevity arises, with the challenge to bring quality of life to the years and allow reaching 70 with the vitality, health and mental lucidity of the 40s. In women this is essential, because our aging curve that starts at age 35 triples at menopause.
The basic mechanisms that occur in intracellular aging are:
